A Note From Our Principal |
Dear Parents,
I am very aware of the sacrifice many of our families make when they commit to Catholic education. The Diocese and the Parish provide some funds to help families who demonstrate financial need. Here are some additional ways to earn money towards your tuition costs: 1. Saint Amelia Education Guild - https://saintamelia.org/ Saint Amelia is a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) that contracts with the food service industry at Denver and Colorado Springs area venues to provide team members for food service operations. There are two options to raise funds through Saint Amelia: Contract Work Each individual in the family completes an Enrollment Form and then a contract to become part of our team. Family and friends sign up to work at events that are convenient for them. You pick and choose when, where and how often. Each member will receive a 1099 for monies earned each year. Fundraising Church or School Group Fundraising: This is when a group volunteers for one or more events to raise funds for its organization. The funds raised benefit the church or school group's fundraising purpose (school trip, band instruments, team uniforms, etc.) not volunteers. 2. You will receive $500 off your tuition when you refer a family and they enroll at SPCS for the 2022-2023 school year. Receive $250 off your tuition when you refer a Preschool family. 3. The SCRIP program. Each family is required to earn $150 a school year in SCRIP money. Use the reloadable Safeway Cards for your food purchases. Many of our experienced families have some serious SCRIP skills and are willing to share their talents! Any amount after that goes toward your tuition for the next school year. Some families have earned over $2,000 towards their tuition. God Bless, Debbie Brook, Principal |
