TUITION ASSISTANCE
We encourage families to apply for tuition assistance. Tuition assistance is primarily awarded through the Bishop’s Scholarship Fund and ACE Scholarships. Needs and Merit Scholarships are also available through the St. Peter Parish.
BISHOP'S SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Diocese provides tuition assistance through the Bishop's Scholarship Fund. This year St. Peter students were awarded $54,000 from the Diocese.
Application for tuition assistance for the 2025-2026 school year will be available in February 2025. Please contact Carol Burns at 719-481-1855 for more information.
The deadline to apply is April 15, 2025.

Families applying for financial aid will complete an application in FACTS and submit the necessary supporting documentation. The following information will be required by FACTS to complete the process:

Families applying for financial aid will complete an application in FACTS and submit the necessary supporting documentation. The following information will be required by FACTS to complete the process:
- Copies of your most recent Federal tax forms including all supporting tax schedules.
- Copies of supporting documentation for Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Workers’ Compensation, and TANF.
ACE Scholarships
Thank you for your interest in applying for an ACE Scholarship! ACE’s mission is to provide children in grades K-12 with equal access to quality schools. ACE Scholarships partners with private schools throughout the country to provide partial tuition scholarships so families may attend private schools of their choice. Last year, ACE awarded St. Peter students $40,000.
The 2025-2026 application for new and returning students will open on Monday, February 3, 2025. Applications will close on April 15, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

St. Peter Catholic Church Scholarships
St. Peter Catholic Church offers two scholarship opportunities for our students. A “Needs Scholarship” focuses on the financial needs of a family, and the “Merit Scholarship” is for students entering 6th-9th grade only. Deadline to apply is April 15.
Guidelines 2025 - 2026
1. TUITION SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
a. Scholarship amount will be calculated at a percentage based on performance and well-being of the stock market. Amount to be determined.
b. St. Peter Scholarship Program will make every effort to have funds available, although there is no guarantee that such funds will be available to award. We do encourage all applicants to submit their scholarship packet.
c. The St. Peter Scholarship Program committee and the parish finance council will review a new disbursement amount every year.
2. TUITION SCHOLARSHIP DURATION
The St. Peter Scholarship Program awards funds once a year and are paid directly to the school at the beginning of the academic school year. Should the award recipient leave the school prior to the end of the academic year the funds stay with the school.
3. SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA
a. Complete scholarship application must be submitted by April 15, 2025. Partial applications will not be accepted.
b. If a family is applying for the Needs Scholarship for more than one child you may apply as a family on one application form, HOWEVER, you are still required to submit references, grade transcripts, community service and character references for each child.
c. Merit Scholarships are for students entering grades 6-9 only.
d. G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher is required for Merit Scholarships.
e. Currently enrolled at St. Peter Catholic School or entering a Catholic high school. f. What school are you attending next year (for 8th grade only).
g. Name and address of parents or guardians.
h. List academic honors, awards, memberships, activities, (Merit scholarships only). i. List community services, extra-curricular activities, personal special interest. (Merit scholarships only).
j. Two non-family member character references. (Merit scholarships only) k. Teacher Evaluations
