K-Kids is a student-led service organization for students in 4th through 8th grades. Kiwanis International and St. Peter Catholic School sponsor the K-Kids Club. The purpose is to develop leadership through service.
The club meets every other Wednesday at 3:15pm in the science lab.
K-Kids Club Objectives:
To provide opportunities for working together in service to school, church, and community.
To develop leadership skills.
To foster development of a strong, moral character.
To encourage loyalty to school, church, community, and nation.

Examples of service projects sponsored by the K-Kids Club:
Helping the Knights of Columbus serve Pancake Breakfasts, Spaghetti Dinners, and 4th of July Breakfasts.

If your child is interested in K-Kids Club, please have him/her bring home a permission form. Forms can be picked up outside the science lab. A new form is required each school year.
St. Peter Cub Scout Pack 217
Pack 217 is chartered by St. Peter Catholic Church. The pack welcomes boys and girls grades K through 5. The pack meets monthly at the church and the dens meet throughout the month. For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
SPCS Band for Grades 5-8
The instructor is Judy Schwenk, who has over 25 years of experience teaching in public and Catholic schools. Practices will be after school from 3:15-4:15pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On August 27 there will be parent information and instrument rental meeting, the first first practice will be on August 28. The cost is $50 a month, beginning in September. Discounts are offered for families with multiple children. Registration fee is $25, which will cover the August instruction. Families are responsible for providing an instrument, book, accessories, and music stand for at-home practice. If you have an instrument at home for use, please bring it to the parent information meeting on August 27 for assessment. The usual beginning instruments are flute, clarinet, alto saxaphone, trumpet, trombone, and percussion kit. Contact the school office for more information.
