The Diocese provides tuition assistance through the Bishop's Scholarship Fund. This year $650,000 will be awarded to parish schools.

​ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

​St. Peter Catholic Church offers two scholarship opportunities for our students. There is a Needs Scholarship which primarily focuses on the financial needs of a family and a Merit Scholarship for students entering 6th-9th grade only. The two applications are attached. The deadline to submit an application for the 2025-2026 school year is TBD.

Tuition Scholarship Amount
  1. Scholarship amount will be calculated at a percentage based on performance and well-being of the stock market. Amount to be determined.
  2. St. Peter Scholarship Program will make every effort to have funds available, although there is no guarantee that such funds will be available to award. We do encourage all applicants to submit their scholarship packet. 
  3. The St. Peter Scholarship Program committee and the parish finance council will review a new disbursement amount every year.


Tuition Scholarship Duration

The St. Peter Scholarship Program awards funds once a year and are paid directly to the school at the beginning of the academic school year. Should the award recipient leave the school prior to the end of the academic year the funds stay with the school.

Scholarship Criteria
  1. Complete scholarship application must be submitted in the spring, the 2025 submission date will be determined at a later date. Partial applications will not be accepted. 
  2. If a family is applying for the Needs Scholarship for more than one child you may apply as a family on one application form, HOWEVER, you are still required to submit references, grade transcripts, community service and character references for each child.
  3. Merit Scholarships are for students entering grades 6-9 only.
  4. G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher is required for Merit Scholarships. 
  5. Currently enrolled at St. Peter Catholic School or entering a Catholic high school.
  6. What school are you attending next year (for 8th grade only).
  7. Name and address of parents or guardians.
  8. List academic honors, awards, memberships, activities, merit scholarships.
  9. List community services, extra-curricular activities, personal special interest.
  10. Two non-family member character references.
