Mission/Philosophy
Mission Statement
St. Peter Catholic School strives to form future leaders and disciples by challenging all students to:
Philosophy The communication of the Gospel message by word and witness is central in Catholic Education. This philosophy leads our school to motivate students to grow academically, culturally and socially in an atmosphere designed to celebrate and practice the love of God and neighbor. We provide a Christian environment with regularly scheduled chapel time and school Masses. Our second graders also have the privilege of attending St. Peter’s during a sacramental year and receiving their First Reconciliation and Eucharist. Our seventh and eighth grade students prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation. The K-8 programs follow the course of academic standards recommended by the Colorado Department of Education and approved by the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Vision Statement St. Peter Catholic School provides a Christ-centered education, rooted in the Catholic faith, that prepares all children spiritually and academically to become leaders in the church and the world. |
