Crusader Stories

Julie Malone

How long have you been at St. Peter?
I have worked for St. Peter since 2003. This is my 17th year.  I started in the three year-old class as an assistant.

How many kids do you estimate that you have taught in preschool over the years?
Maybe somewhere between 400-450 children

What's your favorite thing about teaching preschoolers at St. Peter?
I love the preschool age! They are so excited about everything. I love teaching them about Jesus, who He is, and how He is involved in every part of our lives. It is so much fun to experience the little things with them for the first time. I love their innocence, honesty and funny humor.

How does the St. Peter preschool program prepare children for kindergarten?
I think our preschool, starting in the three year-old class, prepares the children very well for the next step in school. There has to be a great balance of fun and learning. The teachers work hard to prepare each child to be the best version of themselves.
