Crusader Stories
The Wilson FamilyWe initially chose St. Peter Catholic School because we wanted our oldest son to have a faith-based experience in preschool. We wanted him to be able to celebrate Christmas and Easter at school, and we wanted him to learn about Jesus. After preschool, it was easy to enroll our son in kindergarten, because we had already fallen in love with the school. Now, we are in our sixth year with two kids at St. Peter, and we can’t imagine being anywhere else.
What do you love most about St. Peter? From day one, we loved the smaller size of the classes and the school in general. Every staff member knows our children, and everyone looks out for our kids. We know they are in a safe, secure environment, both physically and emotionally. The academics challenge our kids, and we love the sports opportunities available after school throughout the year. We find the Specials classes of music, Spanish, PE and art to be above average for such a small school. The most important thing about St. Peter for us is the faith aspect. Our children bring faith discussions to the dinner table frequently, and they are taught how to handle any conflict with respect, compassion, and virtue. St. Peter School challenges them to be better human beings, and that is more important than any academic lessons they will learn throughout their lives. Lastly, we love the teachers and staff, who genuinely care about our children. |
